BATESVILLE, AR. - The Lyon College football team opens their 2022 regular season play tonight against Missouri Baptist University at 6 p.m. at Pioneer Stadium in Batesville.
For the Fighting Scots, senior
Isaiah Bradford is in line to get the start at quarterback. In the 2021 season. Bradford played in nine games with a passer-rating of 91.15 while throwing for 1,068 yards. He also rushed 58 times for 101 yards and had an average of 11.2 yards per carry.
Defensively, Mason Davis is projected to be the starting defensive back this season and taking a step forward in leading the secondary. Last season, Davis finished second in total tackles with 62.
The Fighting Scots look to avenge a 31-17 loss in 2021 to Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis.
