HERNDON, TN -
Clayton Burke pitched a complete nine-inning game and picked up the win for Lyon College on Friday afternoon 3-2 over Freed-Hardeman University in Herndon, Tennessee.
Burke allowed six hits and two earned runs. He three batters and struck out five.
Aaron Hurd homered (3) in the top of the second inning for the Scots to tie the game 1-1.
Tristan Buschow doubled to left field and scored for Lyon in the top of the third inning when
Troy Strack singled to left.

Evan Hylek singled in the top of the fifth inning and moved to third on an error. Strack picked up the RBI with a sacrifice to right field to put the Scots up 3-2. Strack had a hit and two runs batted in.
Alec White, Buschow and
Hakeem Yatim all had one hit. Hylek was the only Scot with multiple hits. He was 2-for-2 and scored a run.
The Scots (3-2) are scheduled to play Freed-Hardeman (3-1) on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. followed by a game against Saint Francis University at 4:30 p.m.
