Scots basketball teams travel to University of Health, Sciences and Pharmacy

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The Lyon College men's and women's basketball teams will be on the road to St. Louis for an American Midwest Conference game with the University of Health, Sciences and Pharmacy Eutectics tonight beginning at 5:30 p.m. with the women's game and the men's to follow at 7:30 p.m.

The Scots women's team (3-5, 2-2) is coming off a record-setting 123-59 home win against the Bacone Warriors on Monday night. Six Lyon College players scored in double-figures with Kristen Baham and Mari-Hanna Newsom leading the way with 23 and 21 points, respectively. 

UHS&P (7-3, 4-0) are coming off a 75-65 win at Fontbonne University last week. Grace Beyer led the Eutectics with 31 points, while Elizabeth Allanach had 26 points in the win. 

The Scots men's team (3-5, 0-3) will be looking for its first conference victory against UHS&P (1-11 0-3). Lyon College is coming off a 83-62 win over Bacone with Israel Palmer leading the scoring with 17 points. 

The Eutectics lost to Fontbonne 84-80 in overtime. Their only win came on Dec. 3 against Central Christian College 75-63.
