BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College men's soccer team is coming off an impressive, 3-1, win at home against John Brown on Tuesday. The Scots will now open up a four-game road trip with a pair of games in Hattiesburg, Miss. The Scots will play William Carey on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. before taking on Mobile on Monday at 2 p.m.

SCOUTING REPORTS
LYON: The Scots improved to 2-1 overall with their win against John Brown on Tuesday. Kanata Furutani led the Scots with two goals in the win against JBU, while Andrei Galca scored the other goal for Lyon. Matias Lopez, Marcos Fernandez and Leo Galdino all were credited with an assist in the game.
WCU: William Carey enters Saturday's matchup ranked No. 13 in the NAIA and sports a 4-1 record. Silvio Xavier is the leading goal scorer with four goals through the first five games. Michael White will likely get the start in goal for the Crusaders as he has made 11 saves on the year and has posted one shutout.
UM: No. 18 Mobile currently stands at 2-1 on the season and will play Williams Baptist on Saturday before taking on the Scots on Monday. A total of five players have scored one goal each for the Rams. Antonie Bedos has made 19 saves in goal and has only allowed three goals this season.

Following Monday's game against the University of Mobile, the Scots will travel to Oklahoma for a pair of road games against Mid-America Christian and the University of Science and Arts on Sept. 11 and 13.
