BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College men's soccer team came up just short in its last game as the Scots fell, 1-0, in double overtime this past Saturday at home against LSU-Shreveport. The Scots will face another tough challenge on Tuesday when John Brown comes to town for a 4 p.m. kickoff.

SCOUTING REPORTS
LYON: Leo Galdino and Kanata Furutani both recorded two shots for the Scots against LSU-Shreveport. Bosco Pery got the start in goal against the Pilots and recorded four saves. Tom Baynard-Smith, who posted a shutout in the Scots' 1-0 win against LSU-Alexandria last Wednesday, was named as the American Midwest Conference Defensive Player of the Week for the first time in his career.
JBU: John Brown enters Tuesday's contest at 2-0 on the season as is coming off a 2-1 overtime victory against Evangel. Jacob Zamarron is the player to watch for JBU as he leads the Golden Eagles with three goals and an assist. Rodrigo Selingardi has made three saves in his two starts in goal.

Following Tuesday's game against John Brown, the Scots will travel to Hattiesburg, Miss., to take on William Carey on Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
