BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College men's soccer team opened up its season with a 1-0 win in a neutral site match against LSU-Alexandria earlier this week. The Scots will now return home and play in front of the home crowd for the first time this year on Saturday at 5 p.m. against LSU-Shreveport.

SCOUTING REPORTS
LYON: Jorge Cayo's goal in the 58th minute proved to be the difference in the Scots' 1-0 victory over the Generals on Wednesday. Leo Galdino was credited with the assist on the Cayo game-winner, while Tom Baynard-Smith recorded three saves in goal and earned his first career shutout.
LSUS: The Pilots suffered a 4-1 loss at No. 10 Bethel in their season opener on Thursday. Abdoul Karii Pare scored the lone goal for the Pilots while Julius Williams was credited with the assist.
