BATESVILLE, Ark. – Lyon College football announced its 2021 schedule on Tuesday as the Scots prepare for their upcoming fall season.
The Scots have once again put together a challenging schedule, which includes a non-conference game at Missouri Baptist to open up the season on Aug. 28.
Lyon will open up Sooner Athletic Conference play the following week at Ottawa-Arizona.
The Scots will play their home opener on Sept. 11, in another SAC matchup against Wayland Baptist. Lyon will host five conference games this season.
Following their game against Wayland Baptist, the Scots will take to the road and travel to Oklahoma Panhandle State on Sept. 25 before hosting Langston and Arizona Christian on Oct. 2 and Oct. 9, respectively. The Oct. 9 contest against ACU has been deemed as this year's Homecoming Game.
Lyon will play their final two road games of the season on Oct. 16 and Oct. 23 at Texas College and Southwestern Assemblies of God University.
The Scots will open up the month of November against an unfamiliar foe as SAC newcomer Louisiana College will make the trip to Batesville on Nov. 6. Senior Day will take place on Nov. 13, when the Scots host Texas Wesleyan for their final game of the regular season.
A release about season ticket sales will be published in the coming weeks.
