BATESVILLE, Ark. – The No. 4 seeded Lyon College women's soccer team takes on No. 5 seeded Harris-Stowe State University in the American Midwest Conference Quarterfinals. The match is set for Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
 
The Matchup
Harris-Stowe State University: The Harris-Stowe State University Hornets finished the regular season with a 6-5 overall record, 5-4 in the AMC. HSSU fell to Lyon College in their most recent match by a score of 4-1. The Hornets are led up front by Lizette Popoca. Popoca has scored a team-high four goals and tallied a pair of assists on the season. HSSU will lean on their goalkeeper, Ondrea Montgomery, who has recorded a team-best 41 saves this season.
 
Lyon College: The Lyon College Scots enter the AMC tournament with a 6-5 overall record, 6-3 in the AMC. The Scots defeated Hannibal-LaGrange University on Saturday by a score of 2-1. Lyon is led up front by Hailey Gonzales and Sarah Evans. Gonzales has scored a team-best five goals on the year, while Evans has netted three goals and tallied a team-high three assists. The Scots will lean on their goalkeeper, Jena Vavasseur, who has made a team-best 70 saves on the season.

Lyon is 5-3 all-time against Harris-Stowe State University, with their most recent meeting being a little over a week ago as the Scots defeated the Hornets by a score of 4-1.
