BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College football team will end its regular season on Saturday as the Scots will host Oklahoma Panhandle State at 2 p.m. at Pioneer Stadium for Senior Day. Prior to the game, Lyon College will honor the two cheer and dance seniors and the seven football seniors, including Ignacio Gomez, for the Senior Day recognition. Gates will open at 1 p.m. on Saturday and Meme's Burgery will have their food truck at the stadium.
The Scots are 2-1 all-time against OPSU. Lyon earned a 27-21 win at OPSU in the last meet between the two teams on Nov. 16, 2019.

Spectators for Lyon College Athletic home events will be limited to Lyon College faculty, staff and students (must show Lyon ID), as well as family members (including children) for Lyon College student-athletes competing at the event (must present card to enter). Gates open 60 minutes prior to the start of the contest. Masks must be worn at all times. Fans will be unable to enter after 30 minutes following kick-off. Admission prices are ages 7 and over - $5, while ages 6 and under are free.

THE MATCHUP
LYON: The Scots dropped to 0-4 overall and in the SAC following a 37-10 loss against Langston last Saturday.
Isaiah Bradford will once again get the start at quarterback for the Scots. This season, Bradford has completed 49-of-108 passes for 487 yards with one touchdown and four interceptions. He also has a trio of rushing touchdowns this season. J.D. Horn continues to be the go-to receiver for Bradford as Horn leads the team with 15 receptions for 217 yards.
Cole Peppers and Chris Reese look lead the charge for Lyon defensively as the duo leads the Scots in tackles this season. Peppers has collected a team-high 37 tackles and has 2.5 tackles-for-loss and 1.5 sacks. Reese is second with 36 total tackles and has one-half of a tackle-for-loss.
OPSU: Oklahoma Panhandle State enters Saturday's contest with a record of 1-7 overall and 1-3 in the SAC. The Aggies are coming off a 53-0 loss at home last weekend to No. 18 Dordt University.
KC Crandall is in line to get the start at quarterback on Saturday for the Aggies. This season, Crandall has completed 62-of-133 passes for 819 yards with six touchdowns and four interceptions. Crandall has looked Seth Barbarino's way the most the season as Barbarino leads OPSU with 32 receptions this season for 324 yards and one touchdown. Jaishone Brown is another go-to receiver for Crandall as Brown has caught 12 passes for 324 yards and a team-high three touchdowns.
Warren Dillon leads the Aggies with 62 total tackles this season, including 1.5 tackles-for-loss and one interception. The Scots will look to slow down D'Quan Charles as he leads the Aggies with 12.5 tackles-for-loss and is second on the team with 4.0 sacks.
