HANNIBAL, Mo. – The Scots scored the lone goal of the match to defeat Hannibal-LaGrange University by a score of 1-0 on Saturday.
Lyon moves to 5-4-1 overall, 4-2 in the AMC, while Hannibal-LaGrange University drops to 6-5 overall, 3-4 in the AMC.
GAME FLOW
The match remained scoreless until the 24
th minute as
Marcos Fernandez delivered a nice pass to
Paul-Florian Efang. Efang struck a shot into the back of the net, giving Lyon a 1-0 lead. The score would remain 1-0 in favor of the Scots as the halftime whistle sounded.
Both sides created chances in the second half, but the defense of the Scots stymied HLG's offense the entire match, en route to a 1-0 victory over the Trojans on Saturday.
