BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College volleyball team travels to Tennessee to battle Bethel University on Monday. The following day, the Scots will take a trip to Mississippi for a showdown against Blue Mountain College.
The Matchups
Lyon College: The Scots carry a 6-8 record and 2-2 mark in conference play into the matchup against Bethel University on Monday.
Kaitlyn Jackson has tallied a team-high 328 assists on the season, while
Adia Sherbeyn has totaled a team-high 321 digs and 20 aces.
Madison James has been a force defensively for the Scots as she has notched 45 blocks on the year.
Bethel University: The Lady Wildcats are 6-9 after losing to Life University this past weekend. Hannah McGowan has been a force on the offensive and defensive end for BU this season as she has tallied a team-best 207 kills and 199 digs. Bethel's setting combination of Katelyn Van Hooser and Maggie Brooks have combined for 501 assists on the season.
Blue Mountain College: The Toppers are 7-11 on the season after losing their most recent match against Faulkner University. Offensively, Taylor Wright (team-high 211 kills) and Sydney Colledge (team-best 472 assists) lead the charge for BMC. Meanwhile, Micah Hoffpauir paces the Toppers in digs with 282 on the year.
Series History
Bethel University: Lyon is 0-3 all-time against the Lady Wildcats. In their most recent meeting earlier this season, Bethel bested the Scots.
Blue Mountain College: The Scots are 1-0 against the Toppers with their win coming earlier this season in a three-set victory.

The Scots will return to the court on Friday and Saturday for a trio of American Midwest Conference matches. Lyon will battle No. 5 Missouri Baptist University on Friday before a pair of contests on Saturday against University of Health and Sciences in St. Louis at 11:00 a.m. and Harris-Stowe State University at 1:30 p.m.
