BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College men's soccer team scored the first goal of the match, but Bellevue University answered with a pair of second half goals to defeat the Scots by a score of 2-1 Saturday evening.
Lyon moves to 1-1-1 overall, while Bellevue University improves to 9-4 overall.
GAME FLOW
Both sides generated chances in the first half, but were unable to get on the board in the first 45 minutes. As the halftime whistle sounded, the match remained scoreless. Lyon outshot Bellevue, 5-3.

Leo Galdino delivered a great pass to a cutting
Marcos Fernandez. Fernandez took a touch and curled the shot around the goalie into the back of the net, giving Lyon a 1-0 lead. The Bruins, though, would respond with a penalty kick goal by Toby Millward in the 67
th minute to tie the match at one. The match would remain tied until the 89
th minute as Bellevue's Marvin Ramirez bent a shot into the net, giving the Bruins a 2-1 advantage. The Scots would try to answer back, but ran out of time and fell to Bellevue University by a score of 2-1 Saturday evening.
