THE MATCHUP
LYON: The Scots currently stand at 7-4 overall and 5-2 in the AMC. Cole Anderson continues to lead the Scots in scoring this season at 12.7 points per game following a 14-point, six-assist, five rebound performance in the Scots' last game, which was a 65-41 victory over Bacone College on Jan. 26. Junior guard Ray Price is averaging 10.1 points per game and is shooting over 55% from the field (26-of-47) in conference play this season.
CC: Columbia enters Saturday's matchup at 14-4 overall and 8-2 in the AMC. Columbia is led offensively by Tony Burks, who is the top scorer in the AMC this season, averaging 19.0 points per game. Harrison Vickers is also averaging double figures scoring at 12.1 points per game.
SERIES HISTORY
The Scots are 4-29 all-time against Columbia College. Columbia took the first meeting against Lyon earlier this season on Jan. 19 by a score of 74-63 in Columbia, Mo.
UP NEXT FOR THE SCOTS
Following Saturday's game against Columbia College, the Scots will open up a four-game span between Feb. 15-18. The Scots will open up that stretch with a road game at Williams Baptist on Monday at 5 p.m.
