BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College men's basketball team opened up its four-game road trip with a pair of American Midwest Conference victories this past weekend. The Scots defeated Hannibal-LaGrange on Thursday, 75-50, and Missouri Baptist, 58-53, on Saturday. Lyon will end its road trip with another AMC matchup at Central Baptist College on Tuesday and a non-conference game at Bacone College on Thursday.

THE MATCHUPS
LYON: The Scots enter the week at 2-2 (2-2 AMC) on the season. Three Scots are averaging double figures scoring, led by Winston Peace's team-high 11.8 points per game. Fellow sophomore, Cole Anderson, is second on the team, averaging 11.5 points per game, while Ray Price is averaging 10.8 points per game. Price is also second on the team in rebounding, averaging 6.0 rebounds per game. Price only trails Chris Craig, who is averaging a team-high 7.0 rebounds per game.
CBC: Central Baptist College enters Tuesday night's matchup at 5-3 overall and 1-0 in the AMC. The Mustangs are coming off a 79-74 loss at home to Rust this past Friday. Tedrick Wolfe is one of four Mustangs averaging double figures scoring this season, as he leads the team with 15.4 points per game. Jordan Parker is second on the team in scoring, averaging 13.5 points per game, followed by Zach Hudson (13.0 PPG) and Kelvin Robinson (11.1 PPG). Hudson leads CBC with 6.3 rebounds per game and 13 blocked shots.
BC: Bacone College enters the week at 1-11 on the season and will host Dallas Christian on Tuesday night. Bacone has three players averaging over 15 points per game that the Scots will have to worry about on Thursday. La'Corian Ballard is the top scorer out of that trio, averaging a team-high 19.5 points per game. Dean Austin and Jacoby Durant are the two other players averaging double figures at 16.8 and 15.7 points per game, respectively. Ballard is also the leading rebounder for Bacone at 7.3 rebounds per game.
SERIES HISTORY
The Scots are 13-12 all-time against Central Baptist College and 2-0 all-time against Bacone College. Lyon and CBC split last year's home-and-home series, with the home team winning each time. The Scots last played Bacone on Nov. 22, 2016, where the Scots earned a 79-59 win at home.

Following Thursday's game at Bacone, the Scots will return home to host William Woods in an AMC matchup on Saturday at 3 p.m.
