BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College men's basketball team, winners of four straight, will host their final non-conference game of the season on Tuesday before traveling to Missouri for an American Midwest Conference matchup against Williams Woods University on Saturday. Lyon will host The W on Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. and take on William Woods University in Missouri on Saturday at 3:00 p.m.

THE MATCHUP
LYON: The Scots enter this matchup on a four-game win streak after defeating Harris-Stowe State University, 72-68, and Hannibal-LaGrange University, 64-49, this past week.
Grant Patterson led the Scots against HSSU with 13 points, while
Winston Peace scored 12 points and dished out four assists. In Lyon's win over the Trojans on Saturday,
Dominique Loyd led the Scots with 12 points, while
Ray Price added 10.
Hunter Daley snatched a game-high 6 rebounds in the contest.
THE W: The W has won seven of their last nine games. Keith Harris and Tavonta Jones pace The W in scoring as they average 18.7 and 11.4 points per game, respectively. Tre Pinkston leads the team in assists, tallying 3.4 assists per contest.
WWU: William Woods University enters the week at 10-12 (6-9 AMC) and will play at No. 21 Central Baptist College on Thursday before battling the Scots on Saturday. Makenzie Fessler leads the Owls in scoring (12.0 points per game), while Darius Yohe has put together a strong freshman campaign as he leads his squad with 8.0 rebounds per game and 2.3 blocks per game.
SERIES HISTORY
The Scots lost the only matchup to The W earlier this season, 66-61.
The Scots are 8-5 all-time against WWU after besting the Owls, 51-50, on Dec. 21 inside Becknell Gymnasium.
UP NEXT FOR THE SCOTS
Following Saturday's game against WWU, the Scots will travel to in-state rivals – Williams Baptist University and Central Baptist College – on Feb. 13 and Feb. 15. The Scots will battle WBU on Feb. 13 at 7:30 p.m. The game between the Scots and CBC will begin on Feb. 15 at 3:00 p.m.
