BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College men's basketball team went 3-1 on its recent four-game road trip as the Scots will return home this weekend for two American Midwest Conference games. Lyon will host Harris-Stowe on Thursday night for their "Coaches vs Cancer" game at 7:30 p.m. and Hannibal-LaGrange on Saturday at 1 p.m. for "Alumni Day."
** On Thursday, fans will have an opportunity to donate to the National Association of Basketball Coaches' (NABC) Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers program as a donation jar will be placed at the main entrance gate for those who would like to make a donation.
** On Saturday, all former Arkansas College and Lyon College basketball alums are welcomed back to Becknell Gymnasium on Saturday when Lyon College men and women's basketball teams take on Hannibal-LaGrange in an American Midwest Conference doubleheader for Alumni Day. During halftime of the men's game, the 1960 men's basketball team will be recognized.

THE MATCHUP
LYON: The Scots ended their four-game road trip with two key wins last weekend. The Scots defeated Lindenwood-Belleville, 57-54, before knocking off Missouri Baptist, 72-68.
Grant Patterson was lights-out from distance as the freshman made 6-of-9 three-pointers against MBU as he finished with a career-high 20 points.
Ray Price also had a strong shooting performance as he finished 7-of-12 from the field for 17 points.
Dominique Loyd dished out a career-high nine assists in the win against the Spartans.
HSSU: Harris-Stowe enters Thursday night's matchup at 12-6 overall and 8-4 in the AMC. The Hornets are coming off an 85-72 win at Columbia College on Jan. 23. The Scots will be tasked with trying to shut down one of the top players in the country in Deshawn Munson. Munson leads the NAIA in points per game (28.2), rebounds per game (12.6) and defensive rebounds per game (9.4). He ranks second in the NAIA in assists per game (8.1) and total rebounds (215). He also ranks third in total scoring (479) and total assists (138). Munson has recorded five triple-doubles this season.
HLG: Hannibal-LaGrange enters the week at 2-15 (1-12 AMC) and will play at No. 21 Central Baptist College on Thursday before making the trip to Batesville on Saturday. Ryan Ward is the top scorer and rebounder for HLG as he is averaging 13.4 points per game to go along with 5.0 rebounds per game.
SERIES HISTORY
The all-time series between Lyon and Harris-Stowe is tied at 9-9 after the Hornets defeated the Scots, 70-64, on Dec. 5 in St. Louis.
The Scots are 11-4 all-time against HLG after defeating the Trojans, 66-59, on Dec. 7 in Hannibal, Mo.
UP NEXT FOR THE SCOTS
Following Saturday's game against HLG, the Scots will wrap up a three-game home stand with their final non-conference game of the season on Tuesday night against The W. Tip-off for Tuesday's game is set for 7 p.m.
