BATESVILLE, Ark. – The 18th-ranked Lyon College women's basketball team is coming off a huge road win at No. 9 Freed-Hardeman as the Scots defeated the Lady Lions, 58-51, on Tuesday night. The Scots will return home on Saturday to host Park for their "We Back Pat" game. The initiative, which utilizes promotional public address announcements, video endorsements and television exposure to share a very important message, focuses on raising awareness of Alzheimer's disease and The Pat Summitt Foundation's role in fighting it. Donations for The Pat Summitt Foundation will be taken after the conclusion of the women's basketball game. Tip-off for Saturday's game is set for 1 p.m.

THE MATCHUP
LYON: The Scots improved to 13-1 (9-0 American Midwest Conference) with their win at FHU on Tuesday night. The Scots now lead the AMC standings by one game over No. 12 Columbia College. Madison Riley, Jade Giron and Liz Henderson led the way for Lyon against FHU. Riley netted a team-high 19 points on 7-of-12 shooting, while Giron finished just behind her with 16 points. Henderson just missed out on recording her second double-double of the season as she finished the game with 12 points and nine rebounds. Riley, Henderson, Giron and Katie Turner are all averaging double figures in scoring this season for the Scots.
PARK: Park enters Saturday's matchup at 4-8 (1-8 AMC) after dropping a road game at Central Baptist College on Thursday by a score of 72-58. Chantell Greer and Amanda Alexander led the Pirates with 12 points each against the Mustangs. Sarah Lamp is the lone Pirate averaging double figures in scoring this season at 12.5 points per game.
SERIES HISTORY
The Scots are 13-2 all-time against Park. Lyon has won the last nine meetings against Park, including a 90-43 win inside Becknell Gymnasium on Jan. 24, 2019.
UP NEXT FOR THE SCOTS
Following Saturday's game against Park, the Scots will open up a four-game AMC road trip at St. Louis College of Pharmacy on Jan. 16 at 5:30 p.m.
