BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College men's basketball team will return home for a brief stint to host Park in American Midwest Conference action on Saturday before opening up a four-game conference road trip. Saturday's contest will be promoted as the Scots' "We Back Pat" game, with tip-off set for 3 p.m. The initiative, which utilizes promotional public address announcements, video endorsements and television exposure to share a very important message, focuses on raising awareness of Alzheimer's disease and The Pat Summitt Foundation's role in fighting it.
THE MATCHUP
LYON: The Scots enter Saturday's game at 10-5 (6-2 AMC) after splitting their last two conference games. Three Scots are averaging double figures in scoring this season, led by Hunter Daley's 12.6 points per game. Daley scored a team-high 18 points in the Scots' loss at Freed-Hardeman on Tuesday night. Ray Price is second on the team, averaging 10.5 points per game, while freshman forward Cole Anderson is just behind him at 10.1 points per game.
PARK: The Pirates enter Saturday's game at 11-3 (6-3 AMC) after dropping a road game at No. 18 Central Baptist College on Thursday night by a score of 81-55. Ernest Myles III and Allen Hyatt led the Pirates with 14 points each against the Mustangs. Myles III is the third leading scorer for Park, averaging 11.1 points per game. Cory Reeves is the top scorer for the Pirates, averaging 14.6 points per game. Blue Johnson is the only other Pirate averaging double figures in scoring this season at 11.6 points per game.
SERIES HISTORY
Park leads the all-time series against Lyon, 13-4. Park earned a 60-45 home win in the last meeting between the two teams on Feb. 28, 2019, in the quarterfinals of the AMC Tournament.

Following Saturday's game against Park, the Scots will open up a four-game AMC road trip at St. Louis College of Pharmacy on Jan. 16 at 7:30 p.m.
