BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College women's soccer team squares off with Central Baptist College on Tuesday. The match will begin at 4:30 p.m.
The Matchup
Central Baptist College: The Central Baptist College Mustangs are 1-7 on the year, 1-1 in the AMC. The Mustangs fell to Lindenwood University-Belleville on Saturday by a score of 6-0. Central Baptist is led up front by Jordyn McCrosky and Kelsie Moore. McCrosky has scored two goals and tallied one assist, while Moore has a team-best two assists on the year. The Mustangs will lean on goalkeeper, Beth Franks, who has recorded a team-best 56 saves this year.
Lyon College: The Lyon College Scots are currently 3-4 on the season, 0-2 in the AMC. Lyon is coming off a 5-0 loss to Columbia College on Saturday. The Scots are led up front by
Sarah Evans,
Kimberly Fretwell,
Hailey Gonzales, and
Alexandria Denton. Evans and Fretwell have tallied four goals apiece on the young season, while Evans and Gonzales have each recorded four assists.
Alexandria Denton has totaled three goals and four assists in the 2019 campaign. The Scots will lean on goalkeeper,
Tabetha Troxler, who has recorded a team-best 18 saves.

Lyon is 11-1 all-time against Central Baptist College, with their most recent meeting being in 2018 as the Scots defeated the Mustangs by a score of 3-0.
