The Matchup
Columbia College: The Columbia College Cougars post a 3-3 record on the year. The Cougars have lost their last two matches to John Brown University and Benedictine College. Columbia College is led up front by Kelsey Mirts. Mirts has scored six of the team's nine goals on the season. The Cougars will lean on goalkeeper, Victoria Heus, who has recorded a team-best 28 saves this year.
Lyon College: The Lyon College Scots are currently 3-3 on the season, 0-1 in the AMC. Lyon is coming off a 4-0 loss to Freed-Hardeman University on Monday. The Scots are led up front by
Sarah Evans,
Kimberly Fretwell,
Hailey Gonzales, and
Alexandria Denton. Evans and Fretwell have tallied four goals apiece on the young season, while Evans and Gonzales have each recorded four assists.
Alexandria Denton has totaled three goals and four assists in the 2019 campaign. The Scots will lean on goalkeeper,
Tabetha Troxler, who has recorded a team-best 14 saves.
