BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College men's soccer team returns to Huser Field on Tuesday for a non-conference match. The Scots will face Bacone College at 4:30 p.m.
The Matchup
Bacone College: This will be the first game of the season for the Bacone College Warriors. The Warriors finished the 2018 campaign with a 0-9 record. Bacone College lost their top goal scorer in Roosevelt Peters and their starting goalkeeper in Raul Camarena. Camarena tallied 69 saves in nine games.
Lyon College: The Lyon College Scots are coming off a loss to John Brown University on Friday.
Nate Ayalew leads the Scots with one goal scored so far, while
Vitor Fujiwara has recorded an assist on the young season. Lyon College will also lean on junior goalkeeper,
Vicente Alamos, who has totaled a team-best seven saves this season.
Series History
This will be the first meeting between the two sides.
