BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College men's basketball team will return to action for the first time in two weeks when the Scots host William Woods in an American Midwest Conference matchup on Saturday at 3 p.m. Saturday's game will be promoted as Military Appreciation Day. Any military personnel, past or present, will be admitted free. All military personnel present during the game will be recognized at halftime.

THE MATCHUP
LYON: The Scots enter Saturday's game at 8-3 (4-1 AMC). This will be the Scots' first game since a 66-59 win at Hannibal-LaGrange on Dec. 7. Hunter Daley leads the Scots in scoring this season at 12.6 points per game. Daley is also the leading rebounder for the Scots at 5.5 rebounds per game. Ray Price is also averaging double figures in scoring this season at 10.1 points per game.
WWU: William Woods fell to 7-6 (3-3 AMC) following a 72-57 loss at No. 18 Central Baptist College on Thursday night. Andrew Nett led the Owls with a team-high 14 points on Thursday night against the Mustangs. Makenzie Fessler and Treshawn Gause added 12 points each in the loss. Nett is the lone Owl averaging double figures in scoring this season at 12.7 points per game.
SERIES HISTORY
The all-time series is tied at 7-7 between the Scots and Owls. Lyon and WWU split last year's two-game series with the road team winning each time.
UP NEXT FOR THE SCOTS
Following Saturday's game against William Woods, the Scots will travel to Mississippi University for Women (The W) on Dec. 30 for a non-conference matchup at 6 p.m. in Columbus, Miss.
