SCOUTING THE SCOTS

Sophomore quarterback Isaiah Bradford arguably had the best game of his career against the Rams. Bradford completed 14-of-23 passes for 462 yards and five touchdowns. His 462 passing yards and five passing touchdowns are both single-game records for the Scots. Randy Satterfield ended the night with three receptions, but he turned those three catches into 209 receiving yards and three scores. Bradford and Satterfield connected on a 99-yard catch-and-run, which is the longest play from scrimmage in program history, as Satterfield also etched his name in the record book for most receiving touchdowns in a single contest.

Orreon Finley had another strong performance for the Scots as he hauled in three receptions for 127 yards and two touchdowns. Finley added his name to the record book with a 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, which is the longest kickoff return for the Scots in the modern-era.

Ignacio Gomez was named as the Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) Special Teams Player of the Week after going 4-for-4 in field goal attempts and 5-for-5 in point after touchdown attempts against the Rams. His four field goals made are the most in a single game for the Scots in the modern-era.

SCOUTING THE LIONS

Langston enters Saturday's conference game at 2-1 overall and 1-0 in the SAC. The Lions' lone loss of the season came on Sept. 14 in a 53-15 defeat at NCAA Division I University of Arkansas Pine Bluff.

Tim Whitfield and Toma King headline the Lions' backfield. Whitfield leads the teams with 277 yards on the ground on 42 attempts. He has found paydirt four times this season. King has added 137 rushing yards on 23 attempts. Isaiah Shaputis is another player to watch on the offensive side of the ball for Langston. Shaputis has eight catches for 165 yards and one touchdown.

Justin Wade has been a force on the defensive side of the ball for the Lions through the first few weeks of the season. Wade leads the team with 19 total tackles, including 5.5 tackles-for-loss and 1.5 sacks. Christopher Pogi is second on the team with 18 total tackles and is one of five players to record an interception this year for Langston.
