BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College men's soccer team squares off with Park University on Sunday. The match will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Huser Field.
The Matchup
Park University: The Park University Pirates are 6-3-2 on the year, 5-2-1 in the AMC. The Pirates are coming off a 2-0 victory over Harris-Stowe State University on Wednesday. Park is led up front by Jakib Jones and Mohamed Ndaliro. Jones has scored a team-best seven goals, while Ndaliro has recorded six goals and two assists so far this season. The Pirates will lean on goalkeeper, Elias Eichhorn, who has recorded 22 saves in the 2019 campaign.
(RV) Lyon College: The Lyon College Scots are 11-4-1 on the season, including a 7-1-1 record in AMC play. Lyon is currently riding a four-match win streak with wins over Harris-Stowe State University, Missouri Baptist University, St. Louis College of Pharmacy, and Hannibal-LaGrange University. The Scots are led up front by
Raimundo Cabello and
Marcos Fernandez. Cabello has tallied nine goals on the year, while Fernandez has recorded an AMC-best 14 assists to go along with nine goals scored. Lyon's
Rafael Santos has scored six goals and recorded three assists on the year, while
Emanuel Santos has posted 10 assists during the 2019 campaign. Lyon College goalkeeper,
Vicente Alamos, has totaled a team-best 39 saves, including three clean sheets.

Lyon is 4-5 all-time against Park University, with their most recent meeting being in 2018 as the Pirates defeated the Scots by a score of 3-1.
