BATESVILLE, Ark. – The Lyon College men's soccer team squares off with St. Louis College of Pharmacy on Monday. The match will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Huser Field.
The Matchup
St. Louis College of Pharmacy: The St. Louis College of Pharmacy Eutectics are 0-6-1 on the year, 0-5 in the AMC. The Eutectics are coming off a 4-0 loss to Lindenwood University-Belleville. STLCOP is led up front by Nedzad Idrizovic. Idrizovic has scored a team-best one goal so far this season. The Eutectics will lean on goalkeeper, Ethan Haege, who has recorded 45 saves in the 2019 campaign.
Lyon College: The Lyon College Scots are currently 9-4-1 on the season, 5-1-1 in the AMC. Lyon is coming off a dramatic 3-2 upset victory over Missouri Baptist University on Saturday. The Scots are led up front by
Marcos Fernandez and
Emanuel Santos. Fernandez has scored a team-high seven goals and a team-best 12 assists, while Santos has recorded 10 assists in the 2019 campaign. Lyon's
Nate Ayalew has five goals on the year, while
Rafael Santos and
Nathan Wilson have each tallied four goals and three assists. Lyon College will also lean on junior goalkeeper,
Vicente Alamos, who has totaled a team-best 39 saves, including three clean sheets.

Lyon is 4-0 all-time against St. Louis College of Pharmacy, with their most recent meeting being in 2018 as the Scots defeated the Eutectics by a score of 8-0.
