The Matchup
Missouri Baptist University: The Missouri Baptist University Spartans are 2-8-1 on the year, 2-2-1 in the AMC. The Spartans are coming off a 6-0 victory over Central Baptist College on Saturday. MBU is led up front by Madison Dodd and Gianna Gore. Dodd has scored a team-high three goals and tallied two assists, while Gore has two goals and two assists on the year. Missouri Baptist University will lean on goalkeeper, Jemica Artillaga, who has recorded a team-best 60 saves this season.
Lyon College: The Lyon College Scots are currently 5-6 on the season, 2-4 in the AMC. Lyon is coming off a 4-1 loss to Harris-Stowe State University on Saturday. The visitors from Batesville are led up front by an array of Scots.
Tabetha Troxler has scored a team-best six goals this year.
Kimberly Fretwell has tallied five goals, while
Sarah Evans and
Hailey Gonzales have each scored four times. Gonzales and
Alexandria Denton have recorded six assists apiece in the 2019 campaign. In addition to her goal-scoring abilities, the Scots will lean on goalkeeper,
Tabetha Troxler, who has recorded a team-best 27 saves.
