Lyon College opened the scoring up in the first half off a shot by Estiven Garcia in the 27th minute. Bethel University responded by knotting the game up late in the first half off a goal by David Boompong (37th minute). The score would remain tied entering the second half.
It did not take long for the scoring to start in the second half as Bethel University's Bernardo Torres scored in the 58th minute to give the Wildcats a 2-1 advantage. The Scots would attempt to respond with the equalizer, but were unsuccessful. Bethel would add two goals late by Samuel Boateng (72nd minute) and Jaiquon Bristol (90th minute) to give the Wildcats a 4-1 victory over the Scots on Saturday.
