GAME FLOW
The University of the Ozarks scored the first goal of the game in the 35th minute as Micaela Winters delivered a great cross to Rebecca Peterson where she found the back of the net. This was Peterson's first goal of the season. The Eagles would lead by a goal heading into the half.
The second half saw the University of the Ozarks create some opportunities early, but were turned away by some nice saves by Olivia Wolfram. The Scots pressed on trying to find the equalizer late in the second half. In the 77th minute, Joyce Barbosa ran by a couple defenders and delivered a perfect cross to Sarah Evans in the box. Evans controlled the ball and struck it to the corner of the goal beating the goalkeeper and knotting the score at one. The score remained tied at the end of regulation.
In the first overtime, the University of the Ozarks created chances as they had three shots in the period, but none that found the back of the net. In the second overtime, the Scots had the best chance as Evans took a shot but it went just wide and the game concluded in a 1-1 draw.
