GAME FLOW
Both defenses really excelled in the first half as both sides were held scoreless in the first 45 minutes. Columbia College fired off 13 shots in the first half, while only four of these were on goal. The Scots took seven shots of their own with four of those coming on goal.
In the second half, the Cougars amped up their offensive pressure and would score in the 51st minute as Molly Klein delivered a cross to Lucy Kingsley with Kingsley striking the ball to the back of the net. The Cougars would continue the pressure as they would score a second goal off a penalty kick from Molly Klein. The Scots attempted to answer back, but were unsuccessful and lost to the Cougars by a score of 2-0.
