Scots Drop Conference Opener

GAME FLOW
The first half was filled with plenty of suspense as there were three penalty kicks granted, two for William Woods and one for Lyon. On the first penalty kick, Gianni Santin made a terrific save to hold the Owls scoreless. The Scots would earn a penalty kick of their own just ten minutes later, but Ben Faherty made a great save for the Owls. In the 37th minute, the Owls would be awarded another penalty kick and this time they were successful as Darren Wilson found the back of the net, giving the Owls a one goal lead. At halftime, the Owls led by a score of 1-0.

William Woods was forced to play with 10 men for the majority of the second half as Jordan Henderson was given a red card in the 52nd minute. The Scots were able to push men forward searching for the equalizer, but were not able to find the back of the net. The final whistle sounded with the Owls defeating the Scots by a score of 1-0.
