GAME FLOW
In the first set, Columbia jetted out to an early 10-3 lead. The Scots would cut the deficit to six points multiple times, but Lyon could not get the first game any closer as Columbia won the first frame by a score of 25-14.
In the second stanza, the Cougars were firing on all cylinders as they took a 21-8 lead late in the period. The Scots would rattle off the next two points, but Columbia rebounded to take the second set, 25-10.
The third set saw terrific play from both squads. Lyon had Columbia on their heels early in this frame, but the Cougars registered five consecutive points to extend their lead, 12-5. Lyon would cut the deficit to five, 13-8. However, Columbia's Manuela Vargas (29 assists) and Caroline Clifford (12 kills) were terrific all match long, leading the Cougars to a 25-13 third set victory and winning the match, 3-0.

Lyon will travel to Missouri to square off against No. 1 Park University in the AMC Tournament Quarterfinals on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
