GAME FLOW 
The Trojans jumped out to an early 1-0 advantage as Kendal Welch scored off a corner kick in the third minute. Hannibal-LaGrange kept attacking and would score a second goal in the 21st minute. Welch delivered a corner kick that found Maci Cotler. Cotler had a strong finish, giving the Trojans a 2-0 lead. The Scots, however, answered just before half as Joyce Barbosa scored a goal in the 44th minute, cutting the lead in half.

The second half was dominated by the Scots. In the 59th minute, Sarah Evans got past the defense and beat the goalie to tie the score up at two. The score would remain knotted at two until late in the second half. In the 76th minute, Alexandria Denton struck a shot that beat the keeper and found the back of the net, giving the Scots a 3-2 lead. Lyon would continue their offensive attack as they scored an insurance goal in the 78th minute as Sarah Evans found Joyce Barbosa, who delivered a shot to the back of the net, giving the Scots a 4-2 lead. Barbosa would tack on another goal, her third of the game, in the 88th minute, giving her a hat trick and the Scots a 5-2 victory over the Trojans on Saturday.
