GAME FLOW
The Lynx got on the scoreboard first as Maddi Beck took a set piece that she kicked just over the head of Olivia Wolfram and into the back of the net. The Scots had a couple scoring opportunities in the first half, but were unsuccessful and the score went to half with Lindenwood University-Belleville leading 1-0. The Lynx outshot the Scots 12 to three in the first half.
The Lynx kept up the offensive attack in the second half as Lindenwood University-Belleville's Bri Darlage scored a goal in the 60th minute. This put the score at 2-0 in favor of the Lynx. In the 71st minute, LUB's Emily Ginley took a shot that beat the goalkeeper, giving the Lynx a 3-0 lead late in the second half. The Scots would push forward looking for some late goals, but were unable to find the back of the net, enduring a 3-0 loss to Lindenwood University-Belleville on Saturday.
