GAME FLOW
The Scots jumped out to an early 1-0 advantage as Hailey Gonzales delivered a nice pass to Tabetha Troxler, who struck a shot into the back of the net. Troxler's goal in the ninth minute would be the lone goal of the first half. Lyon outshot Central Baptist 8-2 in the first half.
The second half started off very similar to the first as Tabetha Troxler scored her second goal of the game just seven minutes into half. Troxler took a free kick from about 10 yards beyond the box that beat the goalie, giving the Scots a 2-0 lead in the 52nd minute. The Scots would keep this two goal advantage until the 70th minute when Judith Flores found Joyce Barbosa who scored her 11th goal of the season. Lyon's defense was superb all afternoon as the Scots went on to defeat the Mustangs by a score of 3-0.
