The Scots came out aggressive in this match, registering 20 kills to take the first set 25-22. In the second set, Lyon continued their powerful hitting and impressive defense, en route to a 25-16 game 2 victory. The Eagles would regain their composure and win the third set 25-21. The fourth set was a back and forth affair. Both teams exchanged leads, but RMU would edge the Scots 25-23 to tie the match at 2-2, setting up the pivotal fifth set.
In the fifth set, Lyon wasted no time in sprinting out to an early lead. The Scots looked like the better conditioned squad as Lyon was flying all over the court defensively, sniffing out the Eagles attacks. Led by Michayla Shanks's third double-double of the season, Lyon won the decisive fifth set 15-7, and match 3-2.
University of St. Mary
This match was the second match of the day for both units. In the first set, the Spires jumped out to an early 12-6 lead. They would never relinquish that lead as they won the first set 25-16. The second set was eerily similar to the first as USM gained an early 13-5 advantage. The Scots would rally to cut the deficit to 24-20. However, the Spires would win the following point to take a 2-0 lead.
The third set was the best set of the match for the Scots. Lyon used excellent setting and 17 kills to win the third set 28-26. USM rebounded in the fourth set, though, to defeat the Scots 25-16.

Robert Morris University
- Michayla Shanks finished with her third double-double of the season as she etched 14 kills and 15 digs.
- Katherine Jeane and Gracen Ratliff were terrific attacking for the Scots as they finished with 11 and 10 kills, respectively.
- Lyon utilized two setters - Ellie Embry (29 assists) and Kaitlyn Jackson (23 assists) - to keep the Eagles off balance all match.
- The Scots accumulated 16 more kills and 4 more aces than RMU today.

- Madisson Williams recorded the 2,000th dig in her career at Lyon College in fitting style, tallying a season-high 33 digs in the match.
- Michayla Shanks finished with 15 kills and 13 digs to register her second consecutive double-double and fourth of the season.
- Gracen Ratliff finished with 12 kills, while Kaitlyn Jackson (27) and Ellie Embry (21) combined for 48 assists.
- The Spires edged the Scots 57-53 in kills and 86-80 in digs.
- Michayla Shanks was named to the All-Tournament Team for her outstanding play this weekend as she accumulated 50 kills, 3.13 kills per set, 5 aces, 45 digs, and 1 block during the Eutectics Classic.
