DAYTONA BEACH, Florida - The Lyon College Competitive Cheerleading team finished eighth in the NCA & NDA Collegiate Cheer and
Dance Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida. 

In the preliminary round with a maximum of 90 points, the Scots got 58.63 with 2.25 in deductions and a 74.01 performance rating. 
In the finals, Lyon College was at 69.00 points with .25 deductions for a round of 76.42.
The overall combined event score was a 75.8149.

Lyon College competed against Roosevelt University, Friends University, Park University, Cumberland University, Central Methodist University, St. Thomas University, Point Park University and Missouri Baptist University.
