Batesville, AR - Competing with other NCAA Division III member Hendrix College, Scots won out on the 6-mile course in the DIII Arkansas Championship. Lyon earned the the 1st-place finish with a team score of 26 points.
Scots brought six athletes to compete this afternoon, with two finishing inside the top five.
Collin Orvin was leader of the pack, placing 3rd overall with a final time of 25:10.4. Around a minute later
Daniel Thomas finished 4th overall, with 26:14.1 for time.
Only a few seconds later
Noah Cordes crossed the finish line with a time of 26:31.4 to place 5th.
Gavin Bush followed on five seconds later, finishing 6th at 26:36.9 on the clock.
Bryce Barry finished 8th with a final time of 27:58.2, while
Jakobe Alcorn rounded out the Scots linup for 9th place and a final time of 28:41.0.
